Dr. Baijia Jiang, MD is a hematologist/oncologist within the Southern California Integrated Care Network.
Education and Expertise:
Dr. Jiang has a BS in Physiology and Neurobiology from the University of Maryland. She received her medical degree from the University of Maryland Medical School. She completed her internship and residency at Internal Medicine, California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. Upon completing residency, her fellowship was at Hematology/Oncology, Virginia Commonwealth Health in Richmond, VA.
Dr. Jiang has treated the following patient conditions, benign hematology, malignant hematology and medical oncology. She has also performed bone marrow biopsy and aspiration procedures.
Dr. Jiang’s philosophy of care:
“As a hematologist/oncologist, the patient relationship is of the utmost importance to me. I treat patients during the darkest period of their lives, and I prioritize communication and patient preferences to help them through this difficult time in their lives. I am also able to use cutting edge medicines and therapies to treat blood and cancer patients in the expanding field of oncology.”
During her personal time, Dr. Jiang enjoys reading, cooking, hiking, and exploring Southern California as a native East Coaster.
